This past Tuesday we were honored to be a part of the Near East Side (NES) Hop – a week-long series of events designed to highlight our neighborhood as a great place to live, work, play and raise a family. Hawthorne Park Bed and Breakfast was the starting point for the Community Tours, where attendees enjoyed delicious appetizers from Events by Linzy, took a guided trolley ride through the Near East Side and learned about the development that is already taking place to make the Near East Side an even better place to live. Representatives from Car2Go provided information about their convenient and eco-friendly compact cars, which are placed throughout the city and available for anyone to use.

Our in-house photographer, web developer and marketing guru (ok, she’s also our daughter) was interviewed for a promotional video that was played at the kick-off event on Monday, and is also available for viewing on The Loop Columbus, an online TV show designed to highlight some of the best places in Columbus. Rachel is featured around the 3:00 mark. Take a peek!

We are grateful to feel so connected to our community after such a short time of living and being business owners in Columbus. A special thank you to PACT (Partners Achieving Community Transformation) for choosing us as a partner for this wonderful event!
